Research evidence on the joint health benefit of BPC-157

Knee pain is highly prevalent. Over 365 million people are affected with knee pain. Some of the causes of knee pain are osteoarthritis, meniscus tears, tendinosis, ligament tears/ sprains and different types of arthritis. Peptide therapy is emerging strongly in managing knee pain. Some of them are BPC-157, TB4, collagen, etc. 

A study was conducted at the Institute for Hormonal Balance in Orlando to find out how BPC-157 peptide can be beneficial in managing knee pain. Intra-articular injection of BPC-157 was used. A total of 17 patients with knee pain were included. When patients were asked to rate how BPC-157 helped in easing the pain. A total of 91.6 % of patients (11/12 patients) reported significant improvement in knee pain. One patient experienced no improvement. The study concluded that intra-articular injection of BPC-157 may be helpful in managing multiple types of knee pain.

BPC-157 has regenerative properties and has the potential to repair tears and build cartilage. It is also considered beneficial over steroids because of its reparative properties.
