Pure Omega HP - Integrative Therapeutics | Sustainably Sourced Fish Oil | 375 MG EPA / 125 MG DHA | Supports Cardiovascular System and Cognitive Function

Integrative Therapeutics has designed Pure Omega HP as a dietary supplement with a triglyceride form of omega-3 fatty acids that is sourced from anchovies, sardines, herring, tuna, and mackerel. An all-natural, pure fish oil supplement designed to provide a healthy dose of omega-3 fatty acids and other essential nutrients. The two most common types of omega-3 fatty acids are alpha-linolenic acid, or ALA, and eicosapentaenoic acid, or EPA. These essential nutrients support a healthy body function, and cognitive function, and have a beneficial effect on the cardiovascular system.

Pure Omega HP is a natural fish oil supplement with a potent balance of EPA and DHA which provides you with the essential omega-3 fatty acids 375 MG EPA / 125 MG DHA that your body needs to support various functions. These products are tested for purity and labeled potency claims. This formula helps to maintain a healthy heart, reduces our risk of neurodegenerative diseases and inflammation, and helps support skin health.

Omega-3 fatty acids, which are often lacking in western diets, compete with other fatty acids for cyclooxygenase and lipoxygenase enzyme metabolism, membrane incorporation, and production of lipid mediators. Most omega-3 fatty acids, such as eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), come from marine sources and affect signal transduction pathways and membrane fluidity.

A large amount of EPA and DHA is found in the retina, brain, and heart tissue. There is a preferential distribution of these molecules within the phospholipid bilayer of cell membranes, and they exert unique biological effects.

As humans are less capable to produce EPA and DHA, these fatty acids are considered essential. To increase the intake of these essential fats, dietary supplements of EPA and DHA are useful and effective ways to increase essential fatty acids.
