Ma Zi Ren Wan is a classical formula that is designed for Spleen confinement constipation due to dryness-heat in the stomach and intestines; deficiency of fluid; dry Heat retention in the stomach and intestines, marked by constipation with hard, difficult to expel stool. Other indicators include dry skin, dizziness, and decreased urination. Look for a pink or red tongue with a yellow and dry coating or a pulse that is slippery and rapid, Thready and rapid, Deep and rapid or Superficial and choppy.
