Tolerase® G (“Aspergillus Niger-Prolyl Endopeptidase”) is a proline-specific endopeptidase that can efficiently break down gluten into small fragments – much more efficiently than conventional DPP-IV enzymes. Tolerase® G is active under low-pH stomach conditions (3.5-5.5) and is resistant to digestion by pepsin. This makes it ideal for use in digestive enzyme preparations. GlutENZYME Formula also provides calcium, which contributes to the normal function of digestive enzymes and vitamin B2 (riboflavin), which supports the mucous membranes.
