Adenosyl/Hydroxy B12 is a vitamin B12 combination specially designed to support nerves and mitochondrial support. This supplement helps with carbohydrate metabolism for the enzyme methylmalonyl-CoA as well as the synthesis of neuronal myelin.

Adenosylcobalamin and methylcobalamin are the two forms of vitamin B12 that are synthesized in the body from hydroxycobalamin. These are derived from corn dextrose fermentation. A cyanocobalamin derivative without the cyanide moiety. Adenosylcobalamin is an activated form similar to methylcobalamin.

Adenosyl B12 is the most predominant form of vitamin B12 in cellular tissues. Moreover, it is a key cofactor in carbohydrate metabolism.

My father suffers from B12 deficiencies. Usually we take him for injections to get his levels up because oral B12 is so poorly absorbed. I administered this one using the recommended dosage for 3 months.
