What does Leaky Gut Revive® taste like?
Leaky Gut Revive® has a light, not unpleasant flavor. Some people love it simply mixed into a glass of water, and others prefer to mask the flavor in a glass of juice or a smoothie. Try mixing it into a plain glass of water to see if you like it at first, and if you find that you don’t love the taste, simply mix it into some organic cranberry juice or into a breakfast smoothie.
What time of day should I take Leaky Gut Revive®? Should I take it with or without food?
Leaky Gut Revive® is appropriate any time of the day, morning or night. I generally have a scoop or two in a glass of water first thing in the morning, or if I happen to be doing a protein smoothie for breakfast, I’ll mix it into that for a powerful gut nourishing boost. You can also take it with or without food, so don’t worry about trying to squeeze it in between meals!
Is Leaky Gut Revive® safe for pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and children?
While many moms and dads tell me they give Leaky Gut Revive® to their kids, I always recommend speaking with your child’s pediatrician or nutritionist if you have concerns about any of the ingredients or adjusting the dosing for them. And, as always, I recommend reaching out to your physician, midwife, or other qualified healthcare practitioner if you have any concerns before using it while pregnant or breastfeeding.
Will the licorice in Leaky Gut Revive® raise my blood pressure?
No. While it is true that unprocessed licorice root can raise blood pressure, the licorice in my Leaky Gut Revive® has had the component responsible for that effect removed. This is called deglycyrrhizinated licorice, and it is the herbal licorice form I prefer.
How come there are fewer scoops in my pouch than the number listed on the label?
The listed amount of scoops per pouch is an approximation and can vary based on personal use such as how full you make your scoops, spilling it, how well you scrape out the pouch, etc. While the number listed is an approximation, it shouldn't vary considerably versus what you get.
