DIM® (Diindolylmethane) — 150 mg as proprietary bioavailability-enhanced complex A cruciferous-derived phytonutrient that promotes healthy estrogen metabolism by favoring the 2-hydroxyestrone pathway. DIM is a phytonutrient derived from the metabolism of indole-3-carbinol, a compound naturally occurring in cruciferous vegetables. Once absorbed, DIM acts as a selective modulator of estrogen metabolism, promoting the conversion of estrogen toward the 2-hydroxyestrone pathway — a metabolite associated with favorable hormonal and antioxidant activity — and away from the 16-alpha-hydroxyestrone pathway, which is associated with less desirable estrogenic activity. This shift in estrogen metabolism supports a more balanced hormonal environment in both male and female physiology. In male clients, DIM also supports healthy testosterone availability by modulating aromatase activity. The inclusion of phosphatidylcholine enhances intracellular delivery of DIM via its affinity for lipid bilayer membranes, while tocophersolan, a water-soluble form of Vitamin E, contributes antioxidant activity and further aids in solubilizing the DIM complex for gastrointestinal absorption.
